As the real estate market ebbs and flows, it’s great to see new custom homes springing up in the gated custom lot community of Eagles Nest. Located on the eastern slopes of the McDowell Mountains at the end of Golden Eagle Boulevard in Fountain Hills, this custom lot community is experiencing continued building activity.
At the end of the first quarter of 2012, Eagles Nest has twelve completed homes as well as five homes under construction and two in the design review phase. That’s great news.
I love watching a community come to life. It starts with the “blank slate” stage, where engineers and land planners carefully design the community on paper and the plans go through the planning and zoning and permitting process and street names are chosen and home sites are designed. Next is the “early development” stage, where roads are made, street signs are added along with monument signs and community amenities. Finally comes the selling of custom home sites and the building of custom homes with residents living in the community.
For me it’s so fun to be a part of the process, to watch a carefully planned custom lot community develop into a beautiful neighborhood in which residents reside. With awe-inspiring views of the surrounding mountain ranges, Eagles Nest provides families with sophisticated living and wide-open space.
Eagles Nest is nestled in a natural desert setting with native wildlife, abundant desert foliage, hiking trails and rolling terrain. To learn more, visit www.eaglesnestliving.com.
