According to legend, centuries ago...
When native settlers were searching for a sanctuary in this Sonoran Desert, a vision told them to seek out a majestic eagle perched on a tall saguaro cactus. When they found it, they would also find their new home. While traveling the desert, they spotted the mighty bird soaring across the azure skies, gliding gracefully among the currents.
The eagle rested on a grand saguaro and its cry echoed throughout the vast McDowell Mountains. As the eagle stretched its wings toward the sun’s rays and basked in the warmth of the morning sun, they knew their mission was complete. Here the eagle makes its nest. Now, you can too.
